Since orange was the only “ROYGBV” color we hadn’t yet covered as part of the Splashes of Color series, I thought it would be a good one to feature this week, especially as we approach the official start of Autumn tomorrow!

Orange is really a very versatile color. It’s bold and bright and compliments modern and contemporary design.

But it can also be used in a more traditional style to add warmth and depth.

And as the seasons go, nothing ushers in Fall like incorporating orange into your centerpieces, wreaths and floral arrangements.

Orange is a color that can be incorporated no matter your style!

Do you have orange accents in your home? Is it a color you’ve thought about using more?

The only experience with orange I’ve had was my parents’ bedroom when I was about nine. And what a horrible orange it was.

But I love the orange throw and the outdoor room.

I like how the orange is not overdone in the first and last two photos.

I LOVE orange! In my last house (which I just moved out of 2 weeks ago) I had a bathroom painted “African Sunset”. It was a beautiful shade of orange. Currently I have quite a few fall decorations up so it’s easy to incorporate orange, but some of my all year favorites are some framed pics of orange sunflowers and monarchs.
