Making a Seasonal Wreath for Your Front Door

spring-wreaths

Last week I talked about decorating with fresh flowers. Another easy way to decorate your entryway for spring and summer is to add a seasonal wreath to your front door. Of course, wreaths don’t have to be delegated to the front door; you could hang one on a wall inside your home as well!

There are so many options out there for creating a beautiful wreath with a minimal investment. If you make a wreath of your own – or have one already – be sure to send it to me so I can showcase it in one of our weekly features.

Make a Fabric Wreath with Die Cut Leaves

Make a Ribbon Wreath with Bows

Make a Ribbon Wreath from Scraps (okay, this one is a Christmas wreath, but you could just use spring ribbons instead!)

Make a Birdsnest Wreath

Make a Basic Floral Wreath

Do you use seasonal wreaths, or do you think wreaths should be reserved for Christmas?

My mother always, always had such beautiful seasonal wreaths on our door when we were growing up. I’ve always felt bad that our front door is so naked! This is a fantastic resource for wreath delinquents like me!

Look at all this amazing work you’ve been doing here at Simple Nest - I can’t wait to get started reading!

Thanks so much, Megan! I’ll have to admit I drooled all the way through the Wal-Mart floral/craft section the other day thinking about the pretty wreaths I could make with some of their more unique flowers… LOL!
